When deciding to purchase a custom or stock lace front wig there are several different options you must decide on. The first one is normal the type of cap construction your lace wig will be made and/or build on. There are many different ways to have your lace wig cap made. Below we provide some examples of the available lace wig caps. Please keep in mind that the exact location of the seams will depend on the contours of your head & where support for a quality cap is needed. For custom orders, you can specify your preferred cap construction. On stock items please take notice on the type of cap construction, this is valuable question to ask when making your purchase.
UNDETECTABLE STRETCH IN MIDDLE
This cap construction is a great choice for one who prefers a little stretch but would like to be able to do a full perimeter application with adhesives. This is also the most undetectable method for stock items, while still providing the most accurate fit.
LACE FRONT WIG WITH ADJUSTABLE STRAP IN BACK
If you’re not interested in high ponytails or up do’s and using glues worries you. With an adjustable strap back there is no need to use lace wig adhesives around your nape. You can tighten and loosen your wig for the best fit. You may also have the cap constructed with some lace at your nape as well.
STRETCH FROM EAR TO EAR OVER TOP
One can maximize on stretch with this cap and still achieve an undetectable look. The stretch is hidden behind the ear.
FULL LACE WITH SEWED SEAMS
The most undetectable combination! The seams are sewn instead of using the poly strips.
THIN SKIN ON PERIMETER
The Thin skin option is an ideal one when it comes to durability and easier for application and clean ups. However, please note it is a lot more noticeable than a lace perimeter base perimeter. You can choose thin skin 1) on the full perimeter 2) on the back perimeter only 3) on the front perimeter only or 4) a full thin skin cap.
STRETCH EAR TABS
Sometimes you might need that stretch at the ear for added comfort. You can also order a stretch tab cap where the cap the ear to ear stretch but the stretch tab extends to a triangle.
Above are the most common types of cap construction, you will find slightly different variations or wording. At the end of the day they most likely will fall into one of the above headers. If you come across on that is not listed, please feel free to list it. Sharing information is the ideal method for mutual success.

I love lace front wigs. I'm sensitive to glue.
